– The Andalucia 2023 working calendar includes a total of 12 national and regional public holidays (pic), which are paid and non-recoverable. In addition, two local holidays are added at the proposal of each municipality.
– The Regional Government of Andalucia, as has become traditional, establishes 6 January, Epiphany of the Lord, and 6 April, Maundy Thursday, as traditional holidays in the region, as well as 28 February, the Day of Andalucia, as public holidays in Andalucia, coinciding with national holidays.

Microsoft Rolls Out Patches for 80 New Security Flaws — Two Under Active Attack Including Microsoft Outlook:
– Microsoft’s monthly “Patch Tuesday” updates for March 2023 is rolling out with remediations for a set of 80 security flaws, two of which have come under active exploitation in the wild.
– Eight of the 80 bugs are rated Critical, 71 are rated Important, and one is rated Moderate in severity. The updates are in addition to 29 flaws the tech giant fixed in its Chromium-based Edge browser in recent weeks.

FAKEBOOK Caught Abusing Private Data AGAIN- Dutch court finds Facebook intentionally misused data, still time for Dutch FB users to sign up and share in payout:
– A Dutch court hearing a class action lawsuit on Wednesday found that a European subsidiary of Meta, Facebook Ireland, improperly used personal data of Dutch citizens between 2010 and 2020, saying the company had “violated the law”. “Personal information was processed for the purposes of advertising when in this case that is not allowed,” a summary of the Amsterdam court ruling said. “Personal information was given to third parties without Facebook users being informed and without there being a legal basis to do so.”
– The Dutch Consumers’ Association is to seek damages. 190,000 had signed up for the initiative, but any of the roughly 10 million Dutch people who used Facebook during the relevant period can join if the case moves to a damages phase.

– In front of an empty DJ booth at an East London nightclub, partygoers danced to AI-generated beats in a unique experimental rave that sought to test whether an app can match the vibe of real-life records and a mixer.
– Artificial intelligence has been touted as a great disruptor in recent months. ChatGPT, a text-based chatbot developed by OpenAI that can draft prose, poetry or even computer code on command, has gained widespread attention in Silicon Valley, spurring investors to pour money into AI-focused startups.
– On Feb. 17, AI came for the DJ. “Algorhythm” – hosted in The Glove That Fits bar – was billed as one of the first of its kind by its promoter George Pinnegar. Powering the night’s pulsating techno and rhythmic drumbeat was Mubert, the app created by a team of Ukrainian and Russian developers.
– Mubert uses human-made loops and samples to generate brand-new tracks. Users can like or dislike the app’s generative music, and the app adapts accordingly. – Microsoft appears to have removed the waitlist for its new Bing Chat feature, so now anyone can sign up and use the GPT-4-powered chatbot. Windows Central spotted that if you try and sign up for the new Bing, it will simply unlock immediately. The Verge has tested this on multiple Microsoft accounts, and access was granted immediately with an email confirmation.

– EDITOR’s NOTE: AI chatbots are here to stay, and will soon be integrated into most tech devices you interact with. There are already ChatGPT supporting eyeglasses available, including Bluetooth camera and microphone, add earbuds and you are a walking, talking human-bot (cyborg) connected in real-time to AI thru your phone. Look at an object, ask ChatGPT what it is, and you will listen to the response almost instantly (5/6G growth will speed this up). Same with translating signs, point your glasses-cam at the sign, ask what it says, and you’ll hear an instant translation.
Personally, I find this invasion of AI happening way too fast. This is brand new, untested technology, subject to many known abuses, as well as abuses we have not even thought of yet. Cyber crooks are a very creative lot. Also, you have to sign in with a Microsoft account. Be aware you will be opening a whole new pandora’s box of tracking. Everything you discuss with the chatbot will be permanently added to your Microsoft/Windows user profile. This is a clue as to why Microsoft is providing this to the public without charging.
